I purchased this book for my grandson for St. Patrick's day. Personally, I was not crazy about it as I thought the lead into the story wasn't great. It's all about a child trying to make a trap to catch a Leprechaun. However, my grandson was wild about it, so who am I to say? He was so inspired, that he made his own Leprechaun trap! Anytime you can get a 3 1/2 year old to sit and listen to a story it's a plus and he has listened to this story 2 dozen times already! Also, anytime you can inspire a child to create something using their imagination, that a HUGE plus! This book, it turns out, is great.

Great illustrations and wonderful colors

My students loved this book, it is fun and silly. We were trying to catch a leprechaun in classand it helped add to the fun.

This is such a cute story. My 6yo grandson is obsessed with leprechauns around St. Patrick’s Day, and randomly throughout the year as well. He loves this book. We have set up traps to catch our stuffed leprechaun, Sean. He is convinced Sean comes to life when we’re not watching him. Anytime something is moved or missing, Sean gets blamed, haha. So it was so fun to find a book about kids setting up traps to catch a leprechaun. Spoiler alert: they weren’t any more successful than we have been.

These books are so cute. I bought it to read to my daughter’s class during national read week (which was right around st. Patrick’s day). The 2nd grade class loved it.

We love this series. And the st patricks day version dis not disappoint! The story is sing songs and cutesy. My children love it. And they learned a few new facts about leprechauns
